Summer means days at the beach, trips to the waterpark and of course, afternoons at the ballpark, hot dogs in hand.

But, depending on where you go, those hot dogs could cost an arm and a leg. And let's not get started on the tickets. Floridian baseball fans are some of the luckiest in the country when it comes to ballpark pricing this year. Two of Florida's MLB parks ranked in the top 5 for cheapest ballpark experiences in the nation.

Miami Marlins' LoanDepot Park ranks as second most-affordable MLB park in the nation

At the Marlins' ballpark, children under 3 are admitted to the park for free and adults only pay around $23 for a ticket, almost $40 less than a ticket to see the Boston Red Sox play at the most expensive ballpark in the nation.

Here's what you'd pay for tickets, concessions, merch and parking at LoanDepot Park:

  • Ticket: $23.27

  • Hot dog: $3

  • Beer (small): $5

  • Soda (small): $3

  • Team hat: $21.99

  • Parking: $15

Tampa Bay Rays' Tropicana Field close behind Miami, ranked number 3

Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field runs a little more expensive than the Marlins' park, only admitting those 1-year-old and younger for free. Tickets to a Rays' game hit closer to $30 and beer, soda and hot dogs cost the same price here.

Here are the prices for catching a game at Tropicana Field:

  • Ticket: $26.13

  • Hot dog: $5

  • Beer (small): $5

  • Soda (small): $5

  • Team hat: $12.50

  • Parking: $12.50

Which MLB park has the cheapest fan experience?

The Arizona Diamondbacks' home ballpark Chase Field has the cheapest fan experience in the MLB. Adult ticket pricing is only around $1 cheaper than at the Marlins' LoanDepot park and children under 2 get into the park for free. Concessions, parking and merchandise are cheaper for Diamondbacks fans, though. At Chase Field, it only costs $2 for a hot dog, under $5 for a small beer, under $3 for a small soda, under $10 for a team hat and around $13 for parking.
