Miami RedHawks get Class of 2023 commitment from 7-foot center Reece Potter of Lexington

Reece Potter, a 7-foot Class of 2023 center from Lexington Catholic High School who played AAU ball for Indy Heat Gym Rats, announced his commitment Thursday via Twitter to the Miami University RedHawks.

Potter visited Oxford last week. He reportedly had offers from Xavier, Western Kentucky, Youngstown State, St. Louis, Indiana State, East Tennessee State, Akron and Bowling Green State.

In August, the RedHawks got a commitment from Taft High School standout and Class of 2023 forward Eian Elmer.

Former Xavier head coach Travis Steele was named MU's head coach in March. Potter tweeted about his offer from the Musketeers last October, when Steele was still at XU.
