Miami Valley welcomes first babies of 2023

Hospitals are reporting the first babies born in the Miami Valley in the new year.

The first baby of the new year in the Dayton area was born at Kettering Health Main Campus at 3 a.m., according to a Kettering Health spokesperson.

Anaya Meet Soni weighs 7 lbs and is the first child of Mona and Meet Soni from Cincinnati.

At Miami Valley Hospital campus, the facility welcomed the first baby of the new year at 3:03 a.m., they welcomed another baby at 3:59 a.m.

Atrium Medical Center in Middletown welcomed a new years baby at 6:08 a.m.
