Jordan posted a photoon his Instagram accountMonday of him channelingAli’s iconic 1961 underwater photo, which was taken in Miami by the late-acclaimed photographer, Flip Schulke.

"Respect to the GOAT. Your legacy will live forever!" says the caption accompanying the photo of the actor submerged in a pool, posed in a fighting stance.

The 29-year-old told reporters at the annualVeuve Clicquot Polo Classic on June 4 that he was “sad” over never getting the chance to meet Ali, and shared his thoughts on the former heavyweight champ’s legacy.

"To have his life pass away is tragic, but you've got to celebrate his life," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "He lived a really, really long life; [it was] purposeful, he inspired tons of people. I know he inspired me."

Long live the GREAT Ali!
