Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast

Today, highs will get back into the lower/mid 70s with a slight chance of an isolated shower to the south. With lighter winds, a lake breeze will kick in cooling off the lakefront communities. Tonight looks quiet and comfortable with lows in the low-50s. We're going to be a little warmer on Thursday, but with a weak frontal boundary on the way in the afternoon, there may be a stray shower popping along it. Highs will top out in the upper-70s before the winds shift and cool the lakefront off. There will be a slight chance of an evevning shower on Thursday night, but most of the night should be quiet. Lows will be in the low-50s. Get ready for a breezy and warmer Friday, though a cold front will be approaching from the NW. This could start to touch off some scattered T'storms, but the highs will pop into the low-80s. The chance of a few scattered showers or T'storms will continue into Friday night, but should be moving out through Saturday morning. That means a lot of your weekend should be dry and comfortable with highs each day near 70. As far as weather records are concerned Saturday is the first day of Meteorological Summer.
