Michael Fish's NBC26 weather forecast

Today it will be kind of windy, but still dry. With mostly cloudy skies highs will once again be in the mid-30s. The normal high is 33°. There's a chance of a few afternoon flurries or snow showers well north on Thursday as a cold front makes it's way across the state. Friday will be windy & colder with highs in the mid/upper 20s.. A dry stretch of weather carries over into the first half of the weekend with no significant snow or rain currently anticipated. Sunday, there is a chance of a light wintry mix/rain with highs around 40. There may be a small batch of snow that moves through Monday or Monday night, then some big changes after that system rolls through. The long range computer forecast models are in agreement that a batch of very cold air will move in next week. Highs on Wednesday & Thursday could be running 20-25° below normal.
