It was a reunion for the ages when Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd took the stage together during 2022 New York Comic Con over the weekend.

The two stars of “Back To The Future” were on hand at the Javits Center to talk about their longtime friendship since first meeting for Robert Zemeckis’ 1985 time-traveling sci-fi blockbuster and its two sequels.

Lloyd shared their reunion with a picture of the pair embracing on stage on his Instagram Stories, with the caption: “Thank you @newyorkcomiccon you were wonderful.”

During an emotional panel discussion, Fox shared that his 83-year-old counterpart was there for him through good and bad times.

The 61-year-old actor, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease in 1991 at the age of 29, referred to the progressive disorder as “the gift that keeps on taking,” according to an Uproxx recap.

“People like Chris have been there a lot for me, and so many of you have,” he continued. “It’s not about what I have, it’s about what I’ve been given — the voice to get this done, and help people out.”

The Canadian-American “Family Ties” star founded the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research in 2000. Through its efforts, the New York City-headquartered organization has reportedly funded $1.5 billion in global research programs.

Fox will receive the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science’s Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award at the event scheduled for Nov. 19.
