Janet Jackson has spoken out about her brother Michael Jackson, claiming the pop star's legacy "will continue".

Speaking to The Sunday Times ahead of her performance at Glastonbury, Janet said she loved to see people still listening to his music.

On his legacy, she said: "It will continue. I love it when I see kids emulating him, when adults still listen to his music.

"It just lets you know the impact that my family has had on the world. I hope I’m not sounding arrogant in any way - I’m just stating what is. It’s really all God’s doing, and I’m just thankful for that.”

Janet rarely addresses the child abuse allegations made against Michael, most recently in the controversial documentary Leaving Neverland, having always wanted to keep his career separate.

Leaving Neverland spotlighted the disturbing stories of Wade Robson and James Safechuck, two men who have accused the late King of Pop of grooming them for molestation when they were children back in the early 1990s.

After its premiere on Channel 4 (it airs on HBO in the US), the divisive documentary was described as "brutal", "shocking" and "traumatic" by viewers.
