Michael Jordan’s Bulls glory days to be recalled yet again in NBA’s ‘Beyond the Last Dance’ podcast

Determined to squeeze still more from Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls glory days and the success of ESPN’s “The Last Dance,” the NBA and Audible on Tuesday announced “Beyond the Last Dance,” a podcast set to launch Monday.

The 10-part audio project, released via Audible.com, will be hosted by Sun-Times alumnus J.A. Adande and B.J. Armstrong, a guard on Jordan’s first three Bulls championship teams and now is a sports agent.

Each 40-minute episode will look back at the Bulls’ celebrated 1997-98 NBA season — Jordan’s sixth and final NBA title team — already the central focus of TV’s “The Last Dance,” the 10-part TV series that made its debut earlier this year.

Years in the making, “The Last Dance” set ESPN documentary ratings records in its debut, reran on ABC and now streams on Netflix.
