Michael Jordan used one emoji to dub himself the GOAT on Twitter

Michael Jordan once said in 2009, “If you ask me, I would never say that I am the greatest player. That’s because I never played against all the people who represented the league prior to Michael Jordan.”

I’m not sure if this is a 10-year challenge or not, but Jordan dubbed himself the greatest of all time in the most 2019 way possible, posting a goat when Twitter asked folks to describe themselves in emojis.

This wasn’t exactly as braggadocios as LeBron James openly saying on his own film production that his 2016 NBA championship win over the Golden State Warriors “made me the greatest player of all time,” but it was maybe the coolest way to contradict the statement he gave to Michael Wilbon 10 years ago:

And maybe that’s what makes Michael the GOAT.
