Michael McIntyre's The Wheel US cancelled after 1 season

The US version of Michael McIntyre’s game show The Wheel has been cancelled by NBC after just one season.
TVLine reports that the series debuted to 1.4 million total viewers and a 0.2 demo rating when it began airing last December, and finished with 2.2 million viewers and a 0.3. rating.
The Wheel USA featured celebrity guests including Yellowjackets' Christina Ricci, This Is Us star Chrissy Metz, Queer Eye's Bobby Berk, ex-WWE Superstar Brie Bella and skateboarder Tony Hawk.

In the UK, the third season of The Wheel finished airing in March on BBC One. The series saw its first ever blind contestant, Toby, who won £45,000.
Opening up about how the show was adapted for him as a blind person, Toby, who went fully blind at the age of 16, said that the BBC was "absolutely brilliant" in ensuring that he felt comfortable on set.
"I’ve been asked a lot what the BBC did to make my experience as a blind person much easier on the show. Honestly, they were absolutely brilliant," he said.

Toby continued: "Firstly, they brought in an external member of staff to be my guide for the day, off the set and on the set, and they allowed me to go around the set beforehand to get my bearings. They even let my girlfriend come with me, just to make me feel safe, bless them."
Toby described host McIntyre as "absolutely incredible", adding: "He read out all the questions twice, made sure I knew where all the celebrities were and what topics they had.
"He even described what was going on while the wheel was moving, which was actually really funny."
The Wheel airs Saturdays on BBC One.
