Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps and wife Nicole let the world know they are a family of five and have a "house full of boys" by announcing the birth of their third son with a precious family photo.
The couple shared the news Wednesday in Instagram posts. Maverick Nicolas Phelps was born Sept. 9 at 36 weeks, weighing 6 pounds, 5 ounces and measuring 20 inches long.
Phelps and Nicole, 34, share Beckett Richard, 18 months, and Boomer Robert, 3, who join in the photo. Boomer shared a bonus photo on his own Instagram.
"Family of 5! Welcome @mavericknphelps to the world! Born 9-9-19," Phelps captioned the photo in the hospital. "Mama and baby are healthy and the boys are pumped to be big bros! #housefullofboys."

Nicole, a former Miss California USA, shared the same image on her Instagram.
"He instantly has stolen all of our hearts and keeps me an ecstatic mommy of boys 💙💙💙 I can’t wait to walk this journey surrounded by my men. #familyof5," she wrote.
Boomer shared a photo of his mom and himself holding baby Maverick with a big smile on his face.
"Big brother x 2!! I’m so excited to have my new baby bro!!" the post reads. "Welcome @mavericknphelps to the world! #luckyme #bigbrother"

The couple announced the pregnancy in April, showing a sweet photo of their sons in a toy jeep that had balloons spelling out the word "baby" along the front bumper.
