Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys are married! See the photo

Love was in the air for Michelle Branch and Patrick Carney, who married Saturday after postponing their wedding to welcome their baby boy.

The singer/songwriter, 35, and Black Keys drummer, 39, traded “I do’s” at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, capping a weekend of wedding festivities.

Mary Moyer, who represents the Black Keys, confirmed the nuptials to USA TODAY. People was the first to report the news.

The couple, who got engaged in 2017, have a 7-month-old son, Rhys; they were planning their wedding when they found out she was expecting. Branch is also the mom of a 13-year-old daughter, Owen, with her ex-husband, bassist Teddy Landau. Carney was previously married to Emily Ward and Denise Grollmus.

Photos shared by friends on Instagram show Branch departing the candlelit venue in a lacy, off-the-shoulder white gown by Temperley London, carrying a loose bouquet of white blossoms, with her hair in casual waves. Carney wore a traditional black Burberry tux.

The couple walked down the aisle to Elvis Presley’s “I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You,” performed by The Symphony Chorus of New Orleans.

“We’re here,” Branch wrote Thursday on Instagram, with a shot of a Dixie beer in a huggie from Domilise’s Po-Boy Sandwiches, a New Orleans restaurant.

On Friday, she posted a shot of the two smooching in front of a window illuminated with a neon fleur de lis. She captioned it: “Love is in the air (and tequila after champagne was a bad idea).”

The couple met in February 2015 at a Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles. She shared a photo of her stunning Art Deco diamond ring when they got engaged on her 34th birthday.

After Carney asked her to marry him, she blew out the candles “and then I had nothing left to wish for,” she wrote.
