Michelle Keegan's BBC drama Ten Pound Poms has started production on its second series.

Earlier this month, the BBC confirmed that Keegan would be returning to the show for a second outing as Kate, with Faye Marsay (Annie) and Warren Brown (Terry) back for more as well.

Now, Brown has shared on Instagram that filming is under way, posting a photo of himself in costume on set in Australia.

The actor captioned the picture: "Cameras are rolling and we are off! Ten Pound Poms Season 2!"

The BBC show gets its title from the name given to British immigrants who relocated to Australia after World War II for the charge of £10.

It follows Terry, his wife Annie, and Kate, who take the leap Down Under and attempt to start a new life from scratch.

Series two will be set in 1957 and see the trio as determined as ever to make their lives in Australia everything they hoped they would be.

We'll also be introduced to a new family – the Skinners, who have just arrived in Australia from Ireland, and Benny Bates, who is described as a cunning landlord.

Following the news that a second series had been greenlit, Ten Pound Poms' writer, creator and executive producer Danny Brocklehurst shared his excitement.

"The positive viewer response to Ten Pound Poms was a true delight," he said.

"We tapped into a little-known part of our recent history and told stories which reflected the realities of the real Poms that made the trip.

"I couldn't be more thrilled to be teaming again with the BBC, Stan and Eleven to continue our characters' adventure down under."

Ten Pound Poms airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
