Former first lady Michelle Obama appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday to promote her new Netflix children's series about healthy eating called "Waffles + Mochi." And she enlisted the help of Kimmel's 6-year-old daughter Jane to show how fun eating vegetables are...or aren't.

Throughout her eight years in the White House, Obama fought for better nutrition standards at schools, but she had an uphill battle getting Jane to eat her veggies. The little girl refused to eat carrots or green beans.

At one point Obama suggested putting a green bean on a piece of pizza, but that notion was quickly rejected by the 6 year old.

"Well, this was an epic fail," said Obama. "That was a tough one. You know? She wasn't having it."
