Michelle Obama is now a Grammy Award winner

The Obamas now have another Grammy to add to their collection.

Former first lady Michelle Obama on Sunday took home the award for Best Spoken Word Album for the audio book of her memoir Becoming. Becoming describes Obama's life as a girl growing up on the South Side of Chicago, all the way to her time as first lady. Obama was up against the Beastie Boys' Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz, John Waters, Sekou Andrews, and Eric Alexandrakis.

Former President Barack Obama has won twice in the same category, bringing home the Grammys in 2006 for Dreams from My Father and in 2008 for The Audacity of Hope. Michelle Obama isn't the only former first lady with a Grammy — Hillary Clinton won the Best Spoken Word award in 1996 for It Takes a Village, and was nominated again in 2003 for Living History.
