Michigan basketball vs. Purdue rescheduled for Feb. 10 at Crisler Center
The first domino of Michigan basketball's rescheduling efforts has fallen.
The Wolverines (10-7, 4-3 Big Ten) will now host Purdue on Feb. 10 at Crisler Center in place of the game that was originally scheduled for Jan. 11, according to the U-M athletic department. Tipoff is slated for 9 p.m. on either ESPN or ESPN2.

This gives Michigan a stretch of three games in five days: Feb. 8 at Penn State, Feb. 10 vs. Purdue and Feb. 12 vs. Ohio State. And before then, U-M is scheduled to visit Purdue on Feb. 5.
Still to be decided is when Michigan will host Michigan State, which was the first of two games that were postponed as the Wolverines battled COVID-19. The date with the Spartans was scheduled for Jan. 8 at Crisler Center but got waived off fewer than 24 hours before tipoff. A late positive test for center Hunter Dickinson dropped U-M the Big Ten's minimum threshold of seven healthy scholarship players.
With the Purdue game in place, here's how Michigan's schedule looks on either side of the matchup:
Feb. 1: Nebraska
Feb. 5: at Purdue
Feb. 7: at Penn State
Feb. 10: Purdue*
Feb. 12: Ohio State
Feb. 17: at Iowa
