Michigan football lands Georgia tight end for 2022 recruiting class

Michigan football went down south to add its latest commitment to the 2022 recruiting class.

Marlin Klein, a three-star tight end who attends Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in northeast Georgia, committed to the Wolverines on Tuesday morning via his Instagram account.

Klein,listed at 6-foot-6, 215 pounds, is the No. 371 overall prospect and the No. 18 tight end in the nation, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.

He held offers from Florida State, Georgia and Michigan State, among others, according to his 247Sports profile.

Originally from Germany, Klein had 15 catches for 335 yards and four touchdowns last season. He is the third commitment in Michigan's 2022 class, joining four-star defensive tackle Alex VanSumeren and four-star linebacker Tyler Martin.
