Michigan football moves up in AP Top 25 Week 9 poll
Michigan football didn’t move up in the USA TODAY Sports AFCA Coaches Poll. Would could it maybe in the AP Top 25?
There was sure to be some movement below the Wolverines as No. 7 Penn State lost to unranked Illinois in nine overtimes and Oklahoma State lost to Iowa State. That also means that the former No. 9 Michigan State — the Wolverines’ next opponent — was due to move up just behind Michigan.
In the latest AP Top 25, Michigan football stood pat, staying at No. 6 while MSU moved up to No. 8, ensuring the biggest matchup in college football in Week 9.
