Michigan football defeated Ohio State, 42-27, to win the Big Ten East Division, and will now play in the Big Ten championship game for the first time since its inception in 2011.

There is now an opponent, thanks to the Minnesota Golden Gophers beating the Wisconsin Badgers 23-13, it will be the Iowa Hawkeyes facing Michigan.

It will be the first time the two schools have met since 2019 when the Wolverines defeated the Hawkeyes 10-3.

This is Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh's first division crown in his 7-year tenure.
