The sophomore safety left in the second quarter of Michigan's season-opening win at Minnesota with an undisclosed injury and did not return. After the game, coach Jim Harbaugh said Hill was "being evaluated."

On Monday, Harbaugh said he expected Hill to be ready for Saturday's contest. The former five-star prospect is considered one of the defense's most important players and has drawn praise for his coverage skills.
