On a day where Michigan basketball was ousted from the secondary postseason tournament in midseason fashion, other teams within the program have thrived.

Women’s gymnastics won yet another Big Ten Championship and Michigan hockey was determined to hold up its end of the bargain, despite being an underdog playing on the road.

Facing 1-seed Minnesota in Minneapolis, the 2-seed Wolverines won the Big Ten Tournament, 4-3, adding to the athletic department’s grand total, and making it the second-straight for the Michigan hockey team.
