Michigan man arrested in connection with killing of poker player Susie Zhao

Police arrested a Michigan man Friday in their ongoing investigation into the death of professional poker player Susie Zhao.

The unidentified 60-year-old man was detained around 9 a.m. Friday after cops found his vehicle, the Detroit Free Press reported. He has not yet been charged with a crime.

The arrest was made about 40 miles northwest of Detroit in White Lake Township.

Zhao’s body was found badly burned in a park in the township on July 13. The 33-year-old had recently moved home to Michigan from Los Angeles.

Police have not released other details from the investigation.

Zhao, known as Susie Q on the poker scene, was a high-stakes player who’d won thousands of dollars. Cops are not sure if her death was related to her career.
