Michigan man dies Friday in I-75 crash
Dec. 16—RICHLAND TOWNSHIP — A man is dead after a single-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Richland Township.
According to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol, at approximately 3:44 p.m., Russell Norman, 88, of Prudenville, Michigan, was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu south on Interstate 75 when he drove off the right side of the roadway. He then struck the ditch as well as a tree.
Norman was transported to Lima Memorial Health System by Beaverdam-Richland Township EMS, where he later died.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing its investigation into the crash.
