Michigan Metal Fest returns to Battle Creek's Leila Arboretum on Saturday

Head bangers and metal bands will fill the historic grounds at Leila Arboretum Saturday for the 2022 Michigan Metal Fest.

Following a two-year pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the metal festival is back at the 72-acre municipal park at 928 W. Michigan Ave., from 11 a.m. until 11:45 p.m.

Thousands attend 2019 Michigan Metal Fest in Battle Creek

Attila headlines the event with more than 30 bands performing for the all-ages show — children 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. There will be 20 vendors, beer tents, a dunk tank and raffles with prizes.

General admission is $40, with VIP tickets available from $100 to $150. On-site parking costs $10 per vehicle. For more information or tickets, visit michiganmetalfest.net.
