Michigan State will officially be going into the 2022-23 basketball season without their former 5-star wing Max Christie. After one season in East Lansing, Christie will officially be keeping his name in the NBA Draft and will hire an agent, forgoing his remaining collegiate eligibility.

In his one season at Michigan State, Christie started in 35 games while averaging 9.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game. He is projected to be a late first-round or early second-round selection in the NBA Draft.
