Robyn Fralick has landed another player with ties to her former program at Bowling Green.

Jocelyn Tate announced on Sunday evening her plans to join Fralick in the Michigan State women's basketball program.

Tate became the second player in less than a week to follow Fralick from Bowling Green to East Lansing. Midview (Ohio) standout Mary Meng, who was initially signed to play at Bowling Green, also made a pledge to the Spartans this week.

Tate, a 5-foot-10 guard/forward, helped Bowling Green make a run to the WNIT semifinals. She started all 37 games last season as a sophomore and averaged 10.2 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals.

Tate has strong basketball ties and her older brother Jae’Sean played at Ohio State and is now with the Houston Rockets in the NBA. Her father, Jermaine, played at Ohio State and Cincinnati and then with the Harlem Globetrotters and other professional teams.

The recent additions are among the roster movement for the Spartans since Fralick replaced Suzy Merchant as the Spartans coach.

Carmel Catholic (Illinois) 6-4 forward Jordan Wood, who previously signed with MSU, reopened her recruitment earlier this month.
