Michigan basketball is losing another senior.

Chaundee Brown announced Saturday afternoon that he is entering his name into the NBA draft and will hire an agent.

"It's important to thank each and every coach who believed in me, all my teammates and brothers as well as the staff at Michigan for welcoming me into the fold and being a part of something special," Brown wrote in a statement posted on Twitter. "My experience has truly been a dream come true! I will always be a part of the maize and blue family for life!"

Brown is the second senior to declare for the draft this week, joining point guard Mike Smith.

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound wing transferred to Michigan from Wake Forest last offseason and immediately developed into a key contributor as the Wolverines' sixth man. He averaged 8.0 points and 3.1 rebounds while shooting 41.9% from 3-point range, establishing himself as one of the team's top shooters and a tenacious on-ball defender. In the NCAA tournament, Brown scored a season-high 21 points in Michigan's second-round win over LSU.

BIG QUESTIONS: What's facing Juwan Howard, Michigan basketball entering pivotal offseason

Because the NCAA granted a free year of eligibility to all winter-sport athletes, Brown could have returned for another season with Michigan. There were three other seniors on the roster: Eli Brooks; Austin Davis and Isaiah Livers. Coach Juwan Howard previously said he would welcome back all seniors, if they were open to a return.
