Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place in the Magic Kingdom park from 7 p.m. to midnight.

When do Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2023 tickets go on sale?

You can already purchase your tickets to the event. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets went on sale for WDW Resort guests back June 29 and for guests staying off-site on July 6.

According to reports, this year's Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party will also include access to the brand new TRON Lightcycle Run which will use a virtual queue during the event.

"Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade" takes place down Main Street in Magic Kingdom, where special lighting and holiday music will get party-goers into the spirit. Not only will patrons see characters dress up in their holiday best, the parade usually ends with Santa Claus himself making an an appearance.

Native Floridians will also get to finally see snowfall in the state, as the park sends specks of soapy "snow" down from the rooftops.

For Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration, guests can gather at the base of Cinderella's Castle for a Christmas Party with Mickey Mouse and his friends. The guest list includes characters like Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Snow White, Pinocchio, Jessie and Woody, and more.

Choose from several showtimes:

  • 7:40 p.m.

  • 9:25 p.m.

  • 10:30 p.m.

  • Midnight

As for the fireworks show, it is hosted by Minnie Mouse and celebrates the magic of Christmas. It begins at 10 p.m. and features well-known Christmas favorites such as “Joy to the World” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

Can I dress up in costume?

Unlike Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, party-goers won't be allowed to dress up in full costume. However, don't be afraid to don your favorite comfy holiday gear into the parks.
