A man who attended Cardi B’s concert in Las Vegas is turning a bizarre situation into a generous one thanks to a tossed microphone.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper was seen in a video hurling a microphone into a nightclub crowd after a fan tossed a cup of liquid and ice onto her while she was performing on stage on July 29. While the mic appeared to be lost in the commotion, Scott Fisher was able to track it down.

And post it on eBay — but for two good causes.

So I am starting a new thread. For those that didn’t read it a few days ago I own the mic that Cardi B was nice enough to tomahawk at somebody that splashed some liquid on her a few days ago,” Fisher posted Aug. 1 on Facebook, along with a photo of the microphone. “After some encouragement from people I decided to auction it off with 100% of the profit going to be split evenly amongst 2 charities. One is a local charity called Friendship Circle Las Vegas. The other is Wounded Warrior Project. Feel free to share the link with anybody that has money! The auction went live on Ebay at 8:15a PDT Aug 1 and will last for 7 days.”

At the time of this article, the bid is over $92,000 with 83 bids and five days left on the auction block. The starting bid was set at $500.

Fisher told TMZ that the microphone originally cost $1,000.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Department confirmed that a battery report was filed by the woman who the artist tossed the microphone toward, Variety reported.

“On July 30, 2023, an individual came into an LVMPD police station to report a battery,” the LVMPD stated, according to Variety. “According to the victim, she was attending an event on July 29, 2023, at a property located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard. During a concert, she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage.”

No arrests have been made.
