Mid-Penn Awards: 39 Franklin County athletes earn All-Star selections

With the winter sports season coming to a close, it's time to look back and recognize the top performers. It was a big season in Franklin County, with many teams and individuals having big postseason runs.

That success is reflected in the Mid-Penn All-Star selections, with the county heavily represented.

State swimming: 'Go out fast, hold on for dear life': Chambersburg's Estep earns state gold medal

Among the standouts were Ryan Shaffer of Waynesboro and Mia Libby of Greencastle-Antrim, who earned Colonial Division Player of the Year honors. Waynesboro head coach Tom Hoffman also earned Colonial Coach of the Year honors.

On the mat, Shippensburg's Dominic Frontino was awarded Colonial Division Wrestler of the Year.
