Middlebury Road resurfacing project began in Kent Wednesday
The Middlebury Road resurfacing project began just south of Janet Drive on Wednesday at 8 a.m., the Kent Department of Public Service announced.
The project will be done in sections, from Janet to the first bridge over the Cuyahoga River. Closures will occur as needed, with the road reopening at the end of the work day at 6 p.m. School buses and trash and recycling trucks will be given access to enter the work area.
The contractor will complete as much of the work this year as possible, weather permitting, with any remaining work completed in spring 2023.
