On Friday 9 November I will be holding a Reddit AMA at 11am et (4pm GMT) to try and answer some of the questions you may have about this year’s midterms, the costliest in history and potentially among the most consequential for decades. Click here to see the AMA and submit your questions.

I’ve been writing about American politics, society and culture, on and off, for the best part of two decades. I don’t claim to possess a crystal ball, but I am looking forward to seeing not just people’s questions, but also their own thoughts and opinions about what comes next for the US at this fascinating juncture.
