Midtown Oaks offers new home in quiet Prattville neighborhood

A 2-year-old, four bedroom home located less than a mile from Prattville Elementary School is for sale in the popular Midtown Oaks neighborhood off South Memorial Drive.

“Midtown Oaks is a quiet, off the beaten path neighborhood,” Realtor Donna Cox said. “You drive through an older established neighborhood to get to the homes.”

Midtown Oaks is situated on the west side of South Memorial Drive.

The home at 1133 Honeysuckle Drive in Midtown Oaks provides four bedrooms and two bathrooms within 1,668 square feet of living space. The property is for sale for $240,000.

Construction in Midtown Oaks began in 2016, Cox said, adding that her listing was one of the last Midtown homes to be built. “They are traditional brick homes with three or four bedrooms and two-car garages,” she said.

Midtown Oaks is within walking distance of Prattville Elementary School. Residents also are a short drive from attractive downtown Prattville, as well as jobs at Maxwell Air Force Base.

“I love the neighborhood for the location surrounded by older established homes and yards,” Cox said. “The home was built by Goodwyn Building Company, LLC.  Quality of construction is obvious both inside and outside.”

The home at 1133 Honeysuckle Drive is all brick construction featuring granite countertops in the bathrooms and kitchen. The four-bedroom, two-bath home offers 1,668 square feet of living space.

“The home has a formal dining room, breakfast nook, and breakfast bar for additional seating for dining. The home is energy efficient with spray foam insulation, low E windows, and heat pump heating/cooling and water heater,” Cox said. “This keeps utility bills down both summer and winter.”

The spacious backyard has a patio and is fully fenced.  The property is for sale for $240,000.

“This home has the rich red brick which you don’t often see in newer builds with gorgeous deep green shutters. The floor has a beautiful luxury vinyl plank flooring that imitates an expensive wood flooring product,” Cox said. “Roomy and highly functional describes the great room. It has a 10-foot ceiling which makes it feel even larger. French doors in the great room provide a lot of light and access to the patio."

The main bedroom features a 10-foot-high trey ceiling and walk-in closet. The main bath has a double vanity, garden tub, separate shower, and linen closet. Shelving in the laundry room provides additional storage.

The home was built in 2020.
