Mike Miles Jr. suffers apparent right leg injury against Arizona State in NCAA tournament opener

Mike Miles Jr. suffered a right leg injury with 1:13 remaining in the first half of TCU’s NCAA Men’s Tournament opener against Arizona State.

Miles was TCU’s leading scorer this season with 17.3 points per game.

Miles missed five games during the regular-season when he injured his knee against Mississippi State in early February. The Horned Frogs won just one of the five games with him out of the lineup.

Miles was injured when he hyper-extended his knee after a thunderous dunk over an Arizona State defender.

TCU was trailing 40-35 with 1:15 remaining in the first half at the time of Miles’ injury. Miles led all scorers in the first half with 16 points.

Miles re-entered the game with 4.7 seconds remaining in the first half.

Miles was on the court to start the second half for TCU.
