Mike Zimmer joins the JSU football staff

Former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is the newest addition to the Jackson State football. He's accepted an analyst position. Coach Prime made the announcement on social media Tuesday and it's a move that can greatly benefit the Tigers with another coach with NFL experience on their staff. Zimmer was the head coach of the Vikings for 8 years before being let go at the end of the 2021 season. He was also the defensive backs coach for the Dallas Cowboys in the mid 90s when Deion Sanders was a Cowboy. Now the two reunite at JSU.
