Mikhail Red says everything is fine with JoshLia
19 Jun – Despite ongoing rumours that Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia have called it quits on their relationship, Mikhail Red - the director of the couple's new movie - assured that everything has been fine on set.
As reported on ABS-CBN, Red, who is currently helming JoshLia's new project, "Block Z", laughed when told that fans of the tandem have been expressing worries about Garcia and Barretto's situation on the set following said rumours.
"Everyone's professional on set. I'm also proud that it's always a fun and happy set, a very hip set, and I like working with a young crew," said the director.
Red added that he and the team have been having a lot of fun playing, dancing, singing and listening to hip-hop on the set of the movie.
"We wanted everything to be light," he said, adding that fans can see it themselves through the many Instagram Stories the actors shared throughout filming.
The upcoming movie, which revolves around a group of students trapped inside a quarantined university following a spread of a mysterious infection, also co-stars McCoy de Leon, Maris Racal, Ina Raymundo, and Ian Veneracion.
