U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill, the Montclair Democrat who represents the 11th congressional district, is moving her district office out of Parsippany.

The third-term congresswoman and rumored 2025 candidate for the New Jersey governor's office will relocate the office to Livingston Town Hall in Essex County.

Sherrill opened her district office in Parsippany in 2018 after winning her first term in 2017. Her predecessor, Rodney Frelinghuysen, had an office in Morristown.

“In the new year, my district office will be heading to a new space in Livingston. I want to thank Parsippany and Morris County for being our home base for the past five years,” Sherrill said. “No matter where our office is located, we will continue to serve constituents from every town in NJ-11 and look forward to another great year of casework successes.”

Sherrill announced the move at a ceremonial ribbon cutting for the new office with Livingston Mayor Michael Vieira, members of the township council, and Essex County Commissioner Pat Sebold.

Where is Mikie Sherrill's new office?

The Livingston office, however, will not open officially until mid-January. Until then, constituents needing casework services are advised to call the District Office in Parsippany at 973-526-5668.

Livingston Town Hall is located at 357 South Livingston Ave. According to the township website, the building is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Meetings can be scheduled through a form on Sherrill's website.
