Milbank's Boerger; Aberdeen's Babcock, Hesser named all-tourney
Dom Boerger of the Milbank Firechiefs and Michael Babcock and Karson Hesser of Aberdeen Circus Sports Bar have been named to the all-tourney teams from the 90th South Dakota State Amateur Baseball Tournament.
Boerger is one of 25 Class B players honored. Babcock and Hesser are among the 16 Class A honorees.
Boerger pitched two complete games in the tourney, going 1-1. He allowed 17 hits in 17 innings pitches, with seven runs allowed and 37 strikeouts without a walk.
Babcock went 6-for-12 at the plate with three runs scored and Hesser 5-for-12 with a triple and two runs batted in.
