Miles Bridges drops 30 points in first game back from health and safety protocols

Former Spartan Miles Bridges made his presence known in his first game back in nearly two weeks on Saturday — dropping 30 points and grabbing 5 rebounds in a narrow overtime loss vs. the New York Knicks.

Bridges was forced to miss that last six games due to league healthy and safety protocols. Bridges finished the game hitting 12-of-21 shots from the field, including 5-of-12 from three-point range.

Charlotte has locked up a spot in the NBA Play-In Tournament and will need to win on Sunday against Washington to earn the pivotal eighth seed. With a loss, the Hornets would fall to the No. 10 seed and need to win both games in the play-in tournament to move on to the first round.

Tipoff between the Hornets and Wizards is at 1 p.m. EDT on Sunday. Spartans Wire will have you covered on all of the upcoming Michigan State-related NBA postseason action, including a breakdown of which former Spartans will be in this year’s playoffs.
