Mychelle Johnson, wife of former Michigan State basketball standout and current Charlotte Hornets player Miles Bridges,  shared a  series of photos on social media taken after his alleged assault against her.

Court records show Bridges turned himself into Los Angeles authorities Wednesday for a physical altercation that happened Tuesday. He is charged with felony domestic abuse and is due back in court July 20.

Bridges, a 24-year-old NBA standout who attended Michigan State for two years and is a Flint native, posted $130,000 bond Wednesday.

Johnson took to social media on Friday to share photos, what appears to be notes from a medical examination and her experience of what happened.

"I hate  that it has come to this but I cant be silent anymore," Johnson's post read. "I've allowed someone to destroy my home, abuse me in every way possible and traumatize our kids for life.

"I have nothing to prove to the world, but I won't allow anyone who could do something so horrible to have no remorse and paint a picture of something I'm not."

The pictures show a swollen lip and nose, discolored hands, a swollen wrist, bruises on her ear, arm, back and cuts on her leg. On one page of her discharge papers from the emergency department, a series of injuries were listed for her diagnosis.

"Adult victim of physical abuse by male partner; assault by strangulation; brain concussion; closed fracture of nasal bone; contusion of rib; multiple bruises; strain of neck muscle," the document reads.

Johnson, in her post, wrote she will no longer be silenced or let those around "him" continue to lie and protect "this person".

"It's unethical, it's immoral, it's truly SICK," her post continued. "It hurts my heart because I've always had hope, and so much love and as scary as this is for me to do it's time I stand up for myself.

"I won't be silent to protect others anymore because I value myself and my kids more than anyones 'image' ... a fracture(d) nose, wrist, torn eardrum, torn muscles in my neck from being choked until I went to seep and a severe concussion."

Johnson's post said the incident happened in front of the couple's young children.

"I don't need sympathy, I just don't want this happening to anyone else, I just want this person to get help, my kids deserve better," she wrote. "It hurts, everything hurts, this situation hurts, most importantly I'm scared and hurting for my kids who were witness to everything."

The alleged incident occurred less than 48 hours before NBA free agency was set to begin, where Bridges was a top available name and expected to land a contract for more than $100 million.

A 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward, Bridges was a five-star recruit out of Huntington Prep (West Virginia) in the 2016 class. He endeared himself with thunderous dunks for the Spartans and his ability to score, rebound, handle the ball and defend made him a force in college basketball.

He was the 12th pick in the 2018 NBA draft, drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers and dealt to the Hornets on draft night. (The pick was originally the Detroit Pistons', but was traded in the Blake Griffin deal.)

Bridges has averaged 13.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in 291 games over his four-year career with Charlotte. He had his best season in 2021-22 and was in the conversation for the Most Improved Player award, averaging 20.2 points, seven rebounds and 3.8 assists in 80 games.

The Pistons entered the week with enough money to make a lucrative offer, and Bridges was considered an option. But the team decided to take on contracts for draft picks instead.

The Hornets released a statement Thursday saying they are gathering more information and have no comment.
