"Top Gun: Maverick" star Miles Teller made a surprise landing in Michigan this week, stopping in three bars across the state to promote Finnish Long Drink, a canned cocktail company that he co-owns.

News of the "Whiplash" created lines of admirers outside the pubs before they even opened, reaching maximum capacity in some if not all, as fans flooded the bars just to get even a glimpse of the Hollywood celebrity.

Teller first stopped at SpeakEZ in Grand Rapids on Monday night, then Crunchy's Burgers and Beers in East Lansing Tuesday afternoon and The Brown Jug in Ann Arbor Tuesday evening.

At each location, he delighted fans by signing their Long Drink cans and boxes, dancing and sharing a drink with the crowd.

But what really drove the crowd wild was when Teller danced to the hit songs from the 1980s blockbuster "Top Gun."

While Teller's quick Michigan tour may be over, fans will never forget how he and his Long Drink troupe — cue the synthesizers — took their breath away.
