Yes, Miley Cyrus apparently deep-dives on TikTok just like you do. (That’s not just us, right?)

She’s also dropping jokes in fan comment sections, which we totally love. So here’s what happened during her latest dip into the app.

A couple posted a video of themselves being all cute and couple-y with text over their clip that read, “If Miley Cyrus comments, we will get married.” And guess what? She did. The singer wrote, “Hope it goes better for you two than it did for me.” She also added some emojis: an engagement ring, a skull, and a black heart emoji.

Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth surprised fans in 2018 by getting married in secret at their home in Tennessee. They then split in August 2019, and their divorce was finalized in early 2020. While she’s able to make some jokes about the relationship now, Cyrus also opened up recently to Howard Stern about what went wrong.

“There was too much conflict,” she said, according to E! “When I come home, I want to be anchored by someone. I don’t get off on drama or fighting.” She also talked about why they got married in 2018 too—after losing their Malibu home in a wildfire.

“I had so much and it was all gone, every song I had ever written was in that house,” she said. “Every photograph of me that my parents had given to me, all my scripts, I lost everything. And so in trying to put that back together, instead of going, ‘Oh, nature kind of did something I couldn’t do for myself; it forced me to let go,’ I ran toward the fire. Which is not abnormal. A lot of animals do this and end up dying, like deers run into the forest. You’re attracted to that heat, and me being an intense person and not wanting to sit with it and not wanting to go, you know, ‘What could be purposeful about this?’ I just clung to what I had left of that house, which was me and him. And I really do and did love him very, very, very much and still do, always will.”

So how does Hemsworth feel about his personal business being out in the open this way?

“Liam Hemsworth isn’t upset by the recent interview Miley did where she says there was too much conflict in their marriage. Liam was very hurt when they initially broke up, but he has moved on now and is happy with Gabriella [Brooks],” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “He’s very traditional and Gabriella shares the same values as him and gets along with his family. Their relationship is easygoing and they have similar upbringings and backgrounds.”
