Miley Cyrus Will Reportedly Keep All of the Pets Following Her Split from Liam Hemsworth

Liam Hemsworth has officially filed for divorce from Miley Cyrus, and in the wake of their separation the pair have allegedly already decided on one important thing: who will take care of their 15 pets.

After sharing news of their separation on Instagram and through confirmation to People, Miley and Liam reportedly started divorce proceedings, and as TMZ notes, Miley will allegedly keep all of the couple's pets. According to the outlet's sources, Liam could contest custody in front of a judge, but the actor allegedly isn't planning on doing so. In case you didn't know, the pair has quite the miniature zoo in their home with seven dogs, two horses, two mini horses, three cats and a pig.

Animals, and frequent animal adoptions, have been a hallmark of Miam's relationship, with Miley often sharing her adoration for animals through tattoos and 'gram posts. TMZ notes that the two had shared their animals while living together, and Liam had even rescued some of the pets during the recent wildfires that claimed their previous home.

Miley's continuing role as sole pet parent remains just speculation at this point, but it's safe to say that the pop star does love her furry friends. As for what we do know regarding the separation, Miley recently took to Twitter to fight back against rumors that she cheated on Liam, saying, "I can admit to a lot of things but I refuse to admit that my marriage ended because of cheating. Liam and I have been together for a decade. I’ve said it before & it remains true, I love Liam and always will.”

Although this latest report regarding their former marriage is only about pets, it's important for everyone, even tabloids, to give the pair the space and privacy they deserve at this time.
