Military Salute: The Week of April 1
Apr. 1—Ten female students and five alumnae were recognized by the Women of UNG, a shared-interest group of the university's alumni association, on March 5 for their leadership with the Women of UNG 2023 Female Student Leadership Award at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega.
Among them was Cadet Laurana Bradley of Powder Springs, a senior pursuing a degree in criminal justice.
The University of North Georgia is a University System of Georgia leadership institution and is The Military College of Georgia. With almost 19,000 students, the University of North Georgia is one of the state's largest public universities. The university offers more than 100 programs of study ranging from certificate and associate degrees to doctoral programs.
