Mike Miller, the longest-serving state Senate president in U.S. history, officially announced Thursday that he's giving up the post due to health issues related to prostate cancer. Miller, 76, said his mind is strong, but his body is weak. In January, on the second day of the 2019 legislative session, Miller announced he was fighting stage 4 prostate cancer.
