Millersport news: Annual Big Bands Sound to take place Sunday
The 7th Annual Big Bands Sound featuring the Rick Brunetto Big Band will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, at Weldon’s Ice Cream Factory on Canal Drive in Millersport. There will be plenty of ice cream. Bring a lawn chair and enjoy the entertainment.
Community Market
The Millersport Community Market will be open from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Millersport Lions Club Sweet Corn Festival Founders’ Commons on Chautauqua Boulevard in Millersport. Vendors will have various items for sale.
Tour of Homes
The 37th Annual Buckeye Lake Tour of Homes will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14. Tour departures will be at 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. The Tour of Homes is sponsored by the Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association. Pre-sale tickets are $20. Day of Tour tickets are $25 at the Buckeye Lake Winery, 13750 Rosewood Road NE, (Fairfield Beach), Thornville, Ohio, 43076. There will be five homes featured on the tour, three of which are on North Bank Road, one on Lakeview Drive and one on Township Road. Tour De Buckeye Lake
Tour De Buckeye Lake will be held from 7:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, beginning at the Millersport Lions Park, 2900 Chautauqua Boulevard in Millersport. There will be three route options, 11 miles, 28 miles, and 63 miles. There will be multiple rest stops with cold water and snacks. Proceeds go to Bike Buckeye Lake to develop multi-use trails around Buckeye Lake.
