A Milwaukee firefighter is being treated at Froedtert hospital for serious injuries. The Milwaukee Fire Department tells WISN 12 news that the firefighter was injured at the scene of a fire on Saturday near 80th and Oklahoma. The firefighter's family identified him as Jeff Rothmeier. Rothmeirer's daughter is set to have surgery to remove her kidney this week in Minnesota. We have a link to the family's fundraiser under this story on the 12 News app.
