Milwaukee firefighters responded to a school bus in flames at Highland Community School

The Milwaukee Fire Department extinguished a school bus fire that took place Wednesday morning at 18th and Highland, outside Highland Community School in Milwaukee.

The fire department said a call reporting the bus in flames was received around 8 a.m. and firefighters were quickly dispatched. Upon arrival, responders said they found the school bus empty and in flames.

The fire was quickly put out and the fire department said there are no reported injuries in the incident.

Officials said they still do not know what caused the fire.
