Hoodline crunched the numbers to find the best affordable burger sources in Milwaukee, using both Yelp data and our own secret sauce to produce a ranked list of where to fill the bill.
1. Oscar's Pub & Grill
Topping the list is Oscar's Pub & Grill. Located at 1712 W. Pierce St. in Mitchell Park, the pub and New American spot, which offers burgers and more, is the highest-rated low-priced burger spot in Milwaukee, boasting 4.5 stars out of 688 reviews on Yelp.
Choose from specialty burgers like the Big Aloha, which is ham, Havarti cheese, pineapple and avocado, or the the Big "O", which has chipotle jack, smoked Gouda, bacon, chorizo, fried onions and jalapeños.
2. Mazos Hamburgers
Next up is Southgate's Mazos Hamburgers, situated at 3146 S. 27th St. With four stars out of 134 reviews on Yelp, the breakfast and brunch spot, which offers burgers and soups, has proven to be a local favorite for those looking for a budget-friendly option.
Try the Burger Supreme with bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato and dressing or the patty melt with double Swiss cheese on grilled rye.
3. The Fatty Patty
Juneau Town's The Fatty Patty, located at 221 E. Juneau Ave., is another top choice, with Yelpers giving the inexpensive food truck, which offers burgers and more, 4.5 stars out of 19 reviews.
Aside from burgers, there's also a gyro wrap, french fries, veggie burgers, cheese curds and more.
4. Oscar's Winner's Circle
Oscar's Winner's Circle, a traditional American and Mexican spot that offers burgers and more in Burnham Park, is another affordable go-to, with four stars out of 53 Yelp reviews. Head over to 3800 W. Burnham St. to see for yourself.
